Raymond J. Zolekhian

Raymond Zolekhian is a native of Los Angeles and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business-Economics, magna cum laude, from UCLA. He then received his Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School. While at Harvard, he completed the Program at Negotiation at Harvard Law School which is often recognized as the leading negotiation program in the world. Mr. Zolekhian is member of the State Bar of California.

Prior to establishing Hanasab & Zolekhian, LLP, Mr. Zolekhian practiced at the law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, which is consistently recognized as one of the premier law firms in the world. Mr. Zolekhian has represented clients such as Westfield, the National Basketball Association, Activision, Wild Oats Markets, Oakley, Quiksilver and El Pollo Loco, in cases totaling in the tens of billions of dollars.

Mr. Zolekhian is actively involved with every case at the firm.  From intake through litigation, he oversees all aspects of the case from fact gathering to developing legal theories. He personally negotiates all settlements and litigates those cases where the insurance company is low-balling his clients. Mr. Zolekhian firmly believes that this personalized attention leads to significantly higher settlements and an overall more positive experience for his clients.

Mr. Zolekhian has also represented several non-profit organizations on a pro bono basis including Temple Israel of Hollywood, Breed Street Shul Project, Covenant House and Peer Health Exchange. He volunteers his time with numerous non-profit organizations and is on the Board of Trustees of The Jewish Community Foundation of Los Angeles and 30 Years After.
